Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO S/4HANA Consultant to join our global IT team within a diverse, forward-thinking organisation. This role blends hands-on SAP expertise with a strong understanding of finance and controlling processes. You will be involved in the global implementation and optimisation of S/4HANA, working closely with finance teams to enhance business processes and ensure maximum value from the SAP platform. This is a hybrid position, with remote work options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the global S/4HANA implementation as an active team member.
- Analyse business needs and identify opportunities for process improvement using SAP capabilities.
- Gather and document requirements, creating functional specifications.
- Configure the SAP system for FI and CO modules, perform testing, and manage change requests.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of SAP finance processes.
- Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders, fostering strong working relationships and effective engagement.
Technical Skills
- Solid experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA FICO implementation and configuration.
- Knowledge of FI and CO business processes, including banking interfaces, IDOCs, and product costing.
- Familiarity with SAP security standards and compliance practices.
- Experience with global SAP projects and awareness of emerging IT trends.
Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of finance and controlling business operations.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Skilled in end-user engagement, support, and training.
- Analytical thinker with a delivery-focused approach to projects.
Experience Required
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and support.
- At least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation involving FI and CO modules.
- Previous work in global SAP environments, ideally with cross-functional project exposure.
- Experience supporting finance teams in process optimisation and solution delivery.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
- Knowledge of key SAP transactions and processes within Finance and Controlling.
- Certification in SAP FICO or S/4HANA (advantageous).
