Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join a growing SAP Analytics practice delivering modern cloud data and analytics solutions for enterprise clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud projects across multiple industries.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to design, develop, and implement scalable data models, virtualisation solutions, and enterprise analytics platforms. You will participate throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
This role is ideal for a consultant who enjoys solving complex data challenges while delivering high quality analytics solutions using SAP’s latest cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP Datasphere models using graphical and SQL views to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Build and maintain data products, business entities, analytical datasets, and semantic models following SAP best practices.
- Develop and optimise data flows, replication flows, and virtual access models from SAP and non SAP source systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and third party platforms.
- Perform data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyse root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Create technical and functional documentation including solution designs, support guides, and operational procedures.
- Stay current with SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud, and analytics innovations and recommend continuous improvements.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience developing solutions using SAP Datasphere.
- Experience with SAP BW or SAP BW/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud modelling concepts.
- Experience building Graphical Views and SQL Views.
- Understanding of Data Builder, Business Builder, and Space administration.
- Experience creating Data Flows and Replication Flows.
- Knowledge of analytical modelling, semantic modelling, and virtualisation concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL and data modelling principles.
- Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Understanding of authorisations, security, and data governance within SAP analytics platforms.
- Exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud is advantageous.

- 2 to 6 years of experience delivering SAP analytics solutions.
- At least 1 to 2 years hands on SAP Datasphere implementation experience.
- Experience with at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
- Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex issues.
- Experience integrating multiple SAP analytics technologies is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Certification is advantageous.
- Additional cloud or data engineering certifications are beneficial.
