Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior SAP FI/CO Consultant to support finance and controlling processes within SAP. This role provides foundational exposure to financial accounting, management accounting, and period end activities while assisting senior consultants with configuration support, testing, documentation, and user support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support basic FI/CO configuration activities under guidance, including chart of accounts validation, posting keys support, and cost centre structures.
- Assist with finance related incidents by reproducing issues and escalating with supporting evidence.
- Participate in testing activities including unit testing and user acceptance testing support.
- Support documentation of business processes, configuration decisions, and user guides.
- Assist with master data validation for G/L accounts, cost centres, and internal orders.
- Support month end and period end readiness activities.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of SAP FI and CO concepts including postings, cost centres, and reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP navigation and standard finance transactions.
Functional Skills
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work within structured finance controls.
Experience Required
- 0 to 2 years SAP FI/CO exposure.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
- SAP FI/CO training advantageous.
