SAP Logistics Consultant
Job Summary
We’re looking for a motivated SAP Logistics Consultant to join our forward-thinking team and contribute to high-impact SAP projects. This role focuses on managing and supporting data migration activities for logistics processes, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy systems to SAP. You will work closely with business stakeholders to prepare, validate, and optimize data, supporting project success from preparation to post go-live stabilization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Identify and map data for migration from legacy systems into SAP.
- Support data cleansing initiatives to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct migration rehearsals, participate in cutover activities, and assist with post go-live support.
- Perform preload and post-load data validation, manage fallout data, and recommend corrective actions.
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of SAP LE processes, including LE-WM and transportation.
- Experience with SAP master data and transactional data management.
- Knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools in an SAP environment.
- Familiarity with SAP tables and data field structures.
- Advantageous: LSMW and basic ABAP skills.
Functional Skills
- Strong analytical skills to verify accuracy and completeness of data migrations.
- Ability to translate business needs into effective technical migration solutions.
- Skilled in preparing and executing data migration runbooks and cutover plans.
- Effective communication and consulting skills for engaging business stakeholders.
Experience Required
- 3+ years in SAP Logistics with hands-on LE-WM and transportation processes.
- 3+ years working with SAP master and transactional data.
- 3+ years in SAP data migration, analysis, and reconciliation activities.
- Minimum of 1 full cycle SAP implementation involving logistics and migration work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LSMW and ABAP for migration tasks.
- Previous involvement in cutover planning and execution.
- Strong business-facing consulting experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
