Job Summary
We are looking for an Intermediate SAP MM Consultant to deliver enhancements and support across procure to pay and inventory management. This role involves owning defined work items from requirements through build, testing, and deployment, with responsibility for quality outcomes and stakeholder engagement. You will work across purchasing and inventory processes and collaborate closely with FI, SD, and warehouse teams to ensure end to end integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement analysis with business stakeholders for procurement and inventory enhancements.
- Configure SAP MM processes including purchasing settings, release strategies support, account assignment support, and inventory management settings where applicable.
- Execute end to end testing across requisition to purchase order to goods receipt and invoice verification scenarios, ensuring clear test evidence.
- Support master data and process governance, including validation rules and data readiness activities.
- Provide second line support, conduct root cause analysis, and reduce recurring defects through preventative controls.
- Support cutover activities and stabilisation during releases, including hypercare and knowledge transfer.
Technical Skills
- Solid SAP MM configuration experience in purchasing and inventory management.
- Good understanding of integration points with FI for invoice verification and postings, and with SD where relevant.
- Familiarity with standard reports and operational monitoring practices.
Functional Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate business requirements into SAP design.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and practical communication skills.
- Strong documentation discipline and structured approach to delivery.
Experience Required
- 2 to 5 years SAP MM experience across support and or implementation engagements.
- Participation in at least one full project phase, such as build and test, rollout, or go live support.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
- SAP MM certification preferred.
